Notice of Additional FDIC Deposit Insurance Coverage

The First National Bank of Granbury is participating in the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Through December 31, 2010 this program provides unlimited FDIC insurance to checking accounts and NOW accounts earning no more than 0.25%. From January 1, 2011 until December 31, 2012, when the program ends, the unlimited coverage applies only to non-interest bearing transaction accounts. Section 343 of the Dodd-Frank Act provided for the additional coverage in 2011 and 2012.
