Head Teller

Role
Accountable for all cash on premises. Responsible for the training and supervision of tellers and coordination of their duties. Maintains prescribed records and summaries of transactions.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
1. 20% Oversees training and supervises duties of tellers, coordinating their work flow and schedules and assist on teller line. Ensures that all tellers handle themselves in a businesslike/professional manner in handling customer needs.

2. 15% Prepared report of all shortages and overages daily and periodically submits to Branch Manager for review and maintains documentation of these outages and probation schedules of each employee, as set forth in policies.

3. 15% Constantly reviews performance of teller activities as to the use of their cross-selling techniques in accordance with their performance appraisals and discusses needed changes with each teller.

4. 10% Responsible for meeting sales and service goals set by management. Administer and maintain all safe deposit boxes.

5. 10% Responsible for overseeing the operation of the On-site ATM, including daily balancing and cash replenishment.

6. 10% Replenish and reconcile all cash boxes/canisters designated for Nationwide Money ATM's.
Orders the appropriate amounts and types of cash for the company and supplies tellers with daily cash, money orders, travelers checks, and other necessary supplies. Maintains proper documentation of all currency received and disbursed.

7. 10% Maintains overall control and accountability for overall vault reconcilement and periodically audits individual cash drawers of each teller and maintains such documentation of audit.

8. 10% Receives and processes all returned checks by either redepositing, clearing from accounts, contacting member or turning over the Collection Department and maintain daily subsidiary.

9. Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Knowledge & Skills
Experience

Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.

Education/Certifications/Licenses
A high school degree or GED is required.

Job: Loan Assistant

Pay: Grade 6 ($23576.00 - $35364.00) 

Role
Establishes loan files and orders documentation required to process loans. Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all loans documentation. Processes all loan files after closing to ensure that documents are recorded with proper recording authority and the loans are entered correctly into the company records. May assist in loan closing. Provides general administrative support for the loan department.
 
Major Duties and Responsibilities
1. 20% Provides loan processing to loan officers throughout the company and administrative support for officers within the unit. Ensures all required documentation is in the file. Generates and maintains required loan documentation to ensure compliance with all federal, state and bank requirements.
 
2. 15% Sets up customer and account information on financial institutions database and mainframe system, disburses proceeds after the loan has been closed.
 
3. 15% Prepares loan files for submission to underwriting by inputting information into the system, completing processing sheets, prioritizing documents in the file and preparing and mailing all required loan disclosures. Reviews approved credit memos to understand the type and structure of the loan in order to correctly identify the necessary loan documents and fund the loan accurately and in a timely manner.
 
4. 15% Prepares approved loans for closing and coordinate with borrowers and title companies. Prepare and order appropriate loan documentation to complete loan closing.
 
5. 10% Complete regulatory due diligence to validate information required for documentation; obtain and/or conduct a through review of corporate and collateral documentation, i.e... certificates of existence, flood determinations, appraisals, lien searches, title searches/commitment to check for accuracy, completeness and compliance with loan approval guidelines and internal policies.
 
6. 10% Acts as a liaison between customers and all parties involved in the transaction and communicates with customers if any items are needed to loan submission and keeps them posted on loan status.
 
7. 10% Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, The Patriot Act and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
 
8. 5% Coordinates loan closings with lending personnel and complete the remote document delivery. Conduct a post funding review and cross check core system to ensure the loan is booked correctly. Ensure the final title policy is received and reviews for accuracy.
 
9.        Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Role
Process transactions and be an effective information source for our customers: in lobby, drive-thru window or by telephone, to accuratel and efficiently assist with their transactions while assuring a positive experience for each customer and minimizing wait time. Assist customers with a wide variety of services and advise as to how best utilize company products and services in order to meet personal financial goals and provide the highest quality customer service.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
1. 50% Demonstrate efficiency with transactions and utilization of time in order to assist as many customers as possible without negatively impacting the quality of the transaction. Verbally confirm intended transactions with customer to assure needs are met and minimize redoing. Open various new accounts, process necessary information and educate the customers as to services available as a result. Assist with a wide variety of customer services including openiclose Certificates, maintain Safe Deposit Boxes, notary services, fraud issues, etc. Explain and expedite the opening and closing, transfer and rollover of IRA certificates. Assist customers with opening CD's and educate customers as to penalties, earnings, etc. Back up teller as needed.

2. 20% Assists loan officer or other loan personnel in preparing, reviewing, closing, funding and preparing loan package for boarding. Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and internal inquiries.

3. 15% Regularly balances cash drawer to assure accuracy in teller transactions and notifies supervisor regarding any outages. Appropriately applying policies to all official items ( i.e .money orders, travelers checks, official checks, etc.) so that customers have various ways of handling their finances.

4. 10% Create and maintain a clean, neat, pleasant work environment by maintaining a professional look ( i.e. dress, posture, attitude, etc.) positive outlook and behavior toward customer and co-workers.

5. 5% Assist other departments and branches with transactions as needed; provide support for the department and branch managers in fulfilling customer requests and merchant verifications. Regularly completes other branch duties such as cash value, keeping ATM supplied, training new tellers, etc., as requested.
